I am an artist living and working in Brooklyn, New York. I root my work in specific stories and places, often from my immediate surroundings and the Bible. I explore these textual and actual landscapes through drawing, printmaking, and painting. I seek to re-imagine how we approach our traditional texts and places, aiming to situate the viewer between traditional and potential readings. Currently, I serve as Varnell Artist-in-Residence at Memphis Theological Seminary.
